Get Healthy Florida is an organization addicted to uniting communities with the common goal of making our residents healthier.
Created in 2002, our vision is to protect residents in the State of Florida using educational, motivating and proactive health marketing campaigns. Get Healthy Florida is a team of more than a dozen television news professionals, business and marketing specialists and physicians. Our organization is already recognized* as a leader in the social marketing arena in Florida.
Get Healthy Florida works closely with public and private corporate partners, government health organizations and media, including: TV (English and Spanish-speaking), Internet, print and radio. We are continuing to improve and build new community initiatives.

Get Healthy Florida is very active in health-related programs in Central Florida:
• GHF and its partners have already given over 110,000 influenza vaccinations to people in Central Florida.
• Over 3,250 local news stories have aired about GHF and its partners since 2003. We and our partners have been featured on TODAY, CBS This Morning, MSNBC and CNN Worldwide.
• GHF and its partners have helped thousands of residents throughout 6 counties with a mobile Hurricane Relief medical unit.
• GHF and partners have already held more than 100 major community events, including two world record breakers!
• Partners have included: Florida Hospital, Centra Care, Florida Department of Health, Z88.3 Radio, WESH-TV, Novartis, WKMG-TV, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Florida Children's Hospital and Telemundo.
• Since 2005 - Get Healthy Florida has increased it's organization of Community Health Events from 2 months a year to 10 months a year. We now create many unique health-related campaigns throughout the year.
• In March 2005 Get Healthy Florida and our partners provided 14,000 Free Colon Cancer Home Screening Kits to residents throughout Central Florida.
• Through our program, Girls Night Out - for Health, we provide free screenings to women of all ages, for: Bone Density, Heart Disease, Glucose, Cholesterol & more.
